Translation Activity by Audri McCready
Loading the math board and drawing, please wait…
This example demonstrates translation transformations, including horizontal and vertical translations, and translating a figure using vectors. By constructing polygons, vectors, and using the translate command, students can visually understand the concept of translation. Suitable for middle school and above students to learn geometric transformations.

AI Drawing Prompt Reference
Draw a rectangular grid made up of four squares, each with a side length of 4 units. First, draw four squares, then use vectors to translate them horizontally and vertically to form new squares. Finally, draw all the translated squares to create a larger rectangular grid.
The prompt above was compiled from the original drawing commands and is for reference only.
