This example demonstrates the net of a cube, involving basic concepts of solid geometry such as the unfolding of polyhedra. Using GeoGebra commands like Polygon and Prism, the various faces of the cube can be constructed. Suitable for middle school and above students to learn solid geometry.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Polygon(A, B, C, D) → poly1, a, b, c, d
  2. Prism(poly1, 4) → e, E, edgeAE, edgeBF, edgeCG, edgeDH, edgeEF, edgeFG, edgeGH, edgeEH, F, G, H, faceABFE, faceBCGF, faceCDHG, faceADHE, faceEFGH
  3. Net(e, f) → g, I, R, S, T, U, V, faceIJKL, faceIJNM, faceJKPO, faceKLRQ, faceILST, J, faceMNUV, edgeIJ, edgeJK, edgeKL, edgeIL, edgeIM, edgeMN, edgeJN, edgeJO, edgeOP, K, edgeKP, edgeKQ, edgeQR, edgeLR, edgeLS, edgeST, edgeIT, edgeNU, edgeUV, edgeMV, L, M, N, O, P, Q
