This example demonstrates the generation of spiral waves. It involves core mathematical concepts such as functions and parametric equations. Using GeoGebra commands like CurveCartesian, Surface, and Length, dynamic spiral waves can be constructed. Suitable for high school and above students learning coordinate geometry and function graphs.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. CurveCartesian((r * cos(t)), (r * sin(t)), ((2 * cos(r^(2)))) / (r^(2) + 1), t, 0, (2 * π)) → wave2
  2. Surface((r * cos(t)), (r * sin(t)), ((2 * cos(r^(2)))) / (r^(2) + 1), r, 0, (2 * π), t, 0, (2 * π)) → wave3
  3. Length(list1) → length
  4. Line((0, 0, 1), (0, 0, -1)) → axis_{z}
  5. Circle(A, r, axis_{z}) → circle1
