BC Calculus
This example illustrates several methods of approximating definite integrals, including left endpoint approximation, right endpoint approximation, midpoint approximation, and trapezoidal approximation. By adjusting the interval and number of segments, the effects of these approximation methods can be dynamically observed. Core mathematical concepts include definite integrals, functions, and limits. GeoGebra commands used include Textfield, Sequence, Translate, LeftSum, Sum, Intersect, Polygon, and Integral. Suitable for high school mathematics education and learning.
