This example demonstrates the cross-section of a cube. It involves the concept of cross-sections in solid geometry, and uses GeoGebra commands such as Cube, Plane, Translate, and IntersectPath to construct different sections at various angles and positions. Suitable for middle school and above students to learn solid geometry and spatial imagination.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Cube(A, B, C) → a_1, D, faceCDHG, faceEFGH, arêteAD, arêteAB, arêteBC, arêteCD, arêteAE, arêteDH, arêteEH, arêteEF, E, arêteBF, arêteFG, arêteCG, arêteGH, F, G, H, faceABCD, faceADHE, faceABFE, faceBCGF
  2. Plane(H, F, A) → b
  3. Translate(b, Vector[(0, 0, a)]) → b'
  4. IntersectPath(b', a_1) → poly1, I, i, j, k, J, K, L, M, N, f, g, h
