This example demonstrates the rules of mirror reflection transformation of polygons about a line. Core mathematical concepts include: ① definition and properties of geometric reflection (mirror) transformation; ② reflection transformation preserves the shape and size of figures while only changing position and orientation; ③ properties of the axis of reflection. Construction points: Use the Polygon command to draw polygon poly1 (with five vertices A, B, C, D, E), use the Line command to draw reflection axes a, b, c, d, e, use the Mirror command to perform mirror transformation on the polygon and vertices to obtain poly1' and A', B', C', D', E', while demonstrating corresponding vector relationships. This example is suitable for middle school mathematics 'Geometry' unit teaching, useful for guiding students to observe changes before and after reflection, understand that reflection preserves shape and size while only producing positional and directional symmetric transformation, suitable as inquiry-based learning material.
