This example demonstrates the generation process of conic sections, which are geometric shapes formed by the intersection of a plane and a cone, including ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas. Using GeoGebra commands such as OrthogonalLine, Point, Midpoint, etc., the formation process of these curves can be dynamically displayed. Suitable for high school mathematics education and learning.
GeoGebra Commands & Parameters
OrthogonalLine(A, xOyPlane) → aPoint(a) → BMidpoint(A, B) → CLine(D, xAxis) → eVector(D) → uPlane((1, 0, 0), (0, 1, 0), (0, 0, 0)) → PlanexyTranslate(Planexy, u) → translateplanexyRotate(translateplanexy, (-α), e) → RotationplaneSequence(k, k, 1, 2, 1) → list2IntersectPath(Rotationplane, j) → p
