This example demonstrates the Borromean Rings, a classic topological figure consisting of three interlinked rings where no two rings intersect. Core mathematical concepts include topology (linking), geometric construction, parametric equations, and spatial geometry relationships. The construction uses Spline and Translate commands, constructing key points A, B, C, D, E, F and auxiliary objects like a, a', a'_1 to build the interwoven structure of the three rings. Suitable for high school students and above studying spatial geometry, topology, parametric equations, and mathematical modeling demonstrations.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Spline({A, B, C, D, E, F, A}, 3) → a
  2. Translate(a, Vector[(0, -2, 0)]) → a'
  3. Translate(a, Vector[(2, -1, 0)]) → a'_1
