Volume & Surface Area of Prisms (GeoGebra Dynamic)
Loading the math board and drawing, please wait…
This GeoGebra example dynamically demonstrates the volume and surface area of prisms. It covers core math concepts: prism geometry, volume formula (base area × height), and surface area as the sum of all face areas. Construction highlights: uses Polygon command to create the base polygon, Prism command to generate the prism, and Net command to unfold the surface; objects include parameters n (number of sides), r (circumradius), h (height), and multiple vertices (A, B, C, etc.) and faces (faceABLK, faceBCML, etc.). Suitable for middle/high school geometry teaching, helping students visualize the net and derive formulas for volume and surface area.
