Turn the Light On or Off - Pull the Switch
Loading the math board and drawing, please wait…
This example demonstrates controlling a light's on or off state by pulling a switch. Key mathematical concepts include logic and geometric transformations. The construction uses If, Rotate, and other GeoGebra commands to create the dynamic effect of the switch and light. Suitable for middle school and above students to learn about geometric transformations and logic.
GeoGebra Commands & Parameters
If(Switch > 8, Circle[(1, 2), P2]) → cRotate(c, 45°, A) → c'If(Switch > 8, Circle[(1, 2), P2]) → dIf(Switch > 8, Circle[(1, 2), P2]) → eIf(Switch < 8, Circle[(0, 0), 100]) → fIf(Switch < 1, Circle[(0, 0), 200]) → g
