This example demonstrates perfect squares and introduces radical expressions and square roots. By adjusting parameters, it dynamically shows the area changes of squares, helping students understand the concept of square roots. It uses GeoGebra commands such as Sequence, Vector, Textfield, Text, and Polygon. Suitable for middle school and above students learning geometry and algebra.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Sequence(Segment[(0, i), (a, i)], i, 0, a, 1) → liste1
  2. Sequence(Segment[(i, 0), (i, a)], i, 0, a, 1) → liste2
  3. Vector((-0.3, 0), (-0.3, a)) → u
  4. Textfield(a) → ma
  5. Vector((0, -0.3), (a, -0.3)) → v
  6. Text(a, (-0.8, a / 2), true) → metin1
  7. Text(a, (a / 2, -0.8), true) → metin2
  8. Polygon({(0, 0), (a, 0), (a, a), (0, a)}) → çokgen1, e, f, g, h
  9. Text(metin7, (-0.93, a / 2 - 0.3), true) → metin8
  10. Text(metin7, (a / 2 + 0.33, -0.8), true) → metin9
  11. Text(metin10, (-0.93, a / 2 - 0.3), true) → metin11
  12. Text(metin10, (a / 2 + 0.33, -0.8), true) → metin12
