This example demonstrates reflection and translation transformations, involving core concepts of geometric transformations. Using GeoGebra commands such as Polygon, Line, Mirror, Translate, and Vector, multiple transformed figures can be constructed. Suitable for middle school and above students for learning and practicing geometric transformations.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Polygon(A, B, C, D) → poly1, a, b, c, d
  2. Line(E, F) → e
  3. Line(G, H) → f
  4. Mirror(A, e) → A'
  5. Mirror(B, e) → B'
  6. Mirror(C, e) → C'
  7. Mirror(D, e) → D'
  8. Polygon(A', B', C', D') → poly1', a', b', c', d'
  9. Mirror(A', f) → A''
