This example demonstrates parabolas in standard form. It covers fundamental properties of parabolas such as the vertex, focus, and directrix. By adjusting parameters a, b, and c, the shape of the parabola can be observed. Suitable for high school mathematics education, particularly in coordinate geometry and calculus courses.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Numeric a(1)
  2. Numeric b(0)
  3. Numeric c(0)
  4. y = (a * x^(2)) + (b * x) + c
