This GeoGebra applet demonstrates the fundamental definitions and symbolic notations of points, lines, rays, and line segments in plane geometry. It provides an interactive visualization that distinguishes infinite lines, rays with one endpoint, and finite segments with two endpoints. Core mathematical concepts include points, lines, rays, segments, angles, and standard geometric symbols such as line AB, ray AB, and segment AB. The construction uses GeoGebra commands Segment, Ray, Line, and Angle, with objects including points A, B, C; lines a, b, c, line, d, e; rays rayAB, rayBA; segment; buttons ButtonLineAB, ButtonRayAB, ButtonRayBA, ButtonSegmentAB, ButtonAngle; and text labels text1 through text6, angle, g, and α. It is suitable for middle school geometry (Grade 7–8) as an introductory tool, and can also serve high school review or classroom demonstrations for mastering basic geometric objects and their representations.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Segment(A, B) → a
  2. Ray(A, B) → b
  3. Line(A, B) → c
  4. Ray(B, A) → d
  5. Ray(B, C) → g
  6. Angle(C, B, A) → α
