Geometric Interpretation of Vector Subtraction

This GeoGebra example demonstrates the geometric construction and operational rules of vector subtraction. Using the Vector command to create vectors u, v, and w, it clearly illustrates the triangle rule for vector subtraction: aligning the starting points of two vectors, the difference vector is obtained from the endpoint of the subtrahend to the endpoint of the minuend. The construction includes points O, P, Q and vectors u, v, w with text labels showing the calculation process, helping students intuitively understand that u-v=u+(-v) represents the inverse operation of vector addition. Ideal for high school mathematics vector units or introductory college vector algebra, suitable for classroom demonstration or student self-directed exploration.
