Geometry Construction Project
This example demonstrates the circumcenter of a triangle, which is the point where the perpendicular bisectors of the triangle's sides intersect, and also the center of the triangle's circumcircle. Using GeoGebra commands Line, Circle, and Intersect, we can construct the circumcenter. Suitable for students at the junior high school level and above for geometric construction.
GeoGebra Commands & Parameters
Line(A, B) → aLine(A, C) → bLine(B, C) → cCircle(A, D) → dCircle(C, Segment[A, D]) → eIntersect(d, e, 2) → ECircle(B, F) → fCircle(C, Segment[B, F]) → gIntersect(f, g, 2) → HLine(H, F) → hLine(D, E) → iIntersect(h, i) → ICircle(I, C) → k
