Basic Constructions
This example demonstrates how to construct the centroid of a triangle using geometric methods. The centroid is the point where the three medians of a triangle intersect, representing the center of mass of the triangle. By constructing the triangle with vertices A, B, and C, and the medians a, b, and c connecting the vertices to the midpoints of the opposite sides, the Segment command in GeoGebra is used to visually illustrate the formation of the centroid. Suitable for middle school and above students to learn geometric construction and triangle properties.
