This example illustrates the basic concept of power series, a special form of function representation consisting of a series of terms, each being a power of the variable multiplied by a coefficient. By adjusting the coefficients and powers, different power series can be constructed. The example uses the Sum command to build the power series and demonstrates its convergence. Suitable for high school mathematics education and learning.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Sum(x^(n), n, 0, a) → f
  2. Sum(((-x) - 2)^(n), n, 0, a) → h
  3. Sum((4 * ((0.5 * x) - 0.5)^(n)), n, 0, a) → g
