This example demonstrates the concept of lines of symmetry by drawing the symmetry axes of different shapes (like kites). It uses GeoGebra commands such as Polygon and Segment for construction. Suitable for middle school and above students to learn geometric transformations.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Polygon(I, J, K) → poly1, k, i, j
  2. Polygon(L, M, N, O) → poly2, l, m, n, o
  3. Polygon(P, Q, R, S, T) → poly3, p, q, r, s, t
  4. Polygon(U, V, W, Z, A_1, B_1, C_1) → poly4, u, v, w, z_1, a_1, b_1, c_1
  5. Polygon(D_1, E_1, F_1, G_1, H_1, I_1, J_1, K_1) → poly5, d_1, e_1, f_1, g_1, h_1, i_1, j_1, k_1
  6. Segment(L_1, M_1) → a
  7. Segment(N_1, O_1) → b
  8. Segment(P_1, Q_1) → c
  9. Segment(R_1, S_1) → d
  10. Segment(T_1, U_1) → e
