Golden Rectangle and Ratio
Loading the math board and drawing, please wait…
This example demonstrates the golden rectangle and its ratio. A golden rectangle is a special rectangle with a length-to-width ratio of the golden ratio. The core mathematical concepts involved include ratio, the golden ratio, and geometric construction. Using GeoGebra commands such as Segment, OrthogonalLine, Circle, and Intersect, the golden rectangle can be constructed. Suitable for middle school and above students to learn about geometry and ratio.
