This example demonstrates the relationship of trigonometric functions on the unit circle. Through the unit circle, we can intuitively understand the definitions of sine, cosine, and tangent. The construction summary uses Circle, Point, Segment, Line, Angle, OrthogonalLine, and Intersect commands in GeoGebra. Suitable for high school mathematics teaching and learning trigonometric concepts.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Circle(A, 10) → c
  2. Point(c) → B
  3. Segment(A, B) → f
  4. Line(A, (10, 0)) → g
  5. Angle(g, f) → θ
  6. OrthogonalLine(A, g) → h
  7. OrthogonalLine(B, g) → i
  8. Intersect(g, i) → C
  9. Segment(B, C) → j
  10. OrthogonalLine(B, f) → l
  11. Intersect(g, l) → D
  12. Segment(B, D) → m
  13. Intersect(h, l) → E
  14. Segment(E, B) → n
  15. Segment(E, A) → p
  16. OrthogonalLine(B, p) → q
  17. Intersect(h, q) → F
  18. Segment(F, B) → r
  19. Segment(A, D) → k
