In collections Traffic
This example demonstrates the changes in acceleration in traffic. Core mathematical concepts include functions, derivatives, and coordinate geometry. Using GeoGebra commands such as Sequence and Segment, a dynamic traffic scenario is constructed. Suitable for high school and above students to learn about acceleration concepts and their application in real-world scenarios.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Sequence((n, f(n)), n, 0, t_1) → list1
  2. Sequence((n, g(n)), n, 0, t_1) → list2
  3. Segment((-1.9, 200), (-1.1, 200)) → g_3
  4. Segment((-1.9, 0), (-1.1, 0)) → e
  5. Sequence(i - 0.4 < x < i + 0.4, i, 0, t_1) → photo_{road}
  6. Sequence(x = i - 0.4, i, 0, t_1) → left_{road}
  7. Sequence(x = i + 0.4, i, 0, t_1) → right_{road}
  8. Sequence(x = i, i, 0, t_1) → mid_{road}
  9. Sequence(Translate[bike_p, Vector[(0, g(0)), (i - g_y(i), g(i))]], i, 0, t_1) → photo_r
  10. Sequence(Translate[car_p, Vector[(0, f(0)), (i, f(i))]], i, 0, t_1) → photo_b
