This example illustrates the Pythagorean Theorem, which states that in a right-angled triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides. Key mathematical concepts include right-angled triangles and line segments. Using GeoGebra commands such as Min and Polygon, the relationship between the sides of a right-angled triangle can be dynamically demonstrated. Suitable for students in middle school and above to learn geometry and algebra.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Min(1, Max[0, t - 2]) → s_{3}
  2. Min(1, Max[0, t - 1]) → s_{2}
  3. Min(1, t) → s_{1}
  4. Polygon(A, C, B) → t1, b_1, a_1, c
  5. Polygon(B'', D'', E'') → t2, j, k, l
  6. Polygon(G''', H''', C''') → t4, h, m, n
  7. Polygon(E', F', G') → t3, f, g, i
  8. Polygon(A, D, F, H) → q1, a_2, d, f_1, h_1
  9. Polygon(B, D, D'', B'') → q2, b_2, d_1, d'', b''
  10. Polygon(C, C''', H''', H) → q3, c_1, c''', h''', h_2
  11. Polygon(C, B, E, G) → q4, p, q, r, s
