This example demonstrates a single-surface polyhedron. It involves the geometric construction of polyhedra, using concepts of functions and sequences. By using GeoGebra commands such as Append, Function, Surface, and Sequence, the process of generating polyhedra can be dynamically shown. Suitable for high school and above students learning solid geometry.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Append(1, Append[n + 1, Sequence[sin(i), i, 0, 6.28319, (2 * π / n)]]) → Py
  2. Append(1, Append[n + 1, Sequence[cos(i), i, 0, 6.28319, (2 * π / n)]]) → Px
  3. Function(Px) → f
  4. Function(Py) → g
  5. Append(1, Append[m + 1, Sequence[sin(i), i, -1.5708, 1.5708, π / m]]) → Hy
  6. Function(Hy) → hy
  7. Append(1, Append[m + 1, Sequence[cos(i), i, -1.5708, 1.5708, π / m]]) → Hx
  8. Function(Hx) → hx
  9. Surface((f(u) * hx(v)), (g(u) * hx(v)), hy(v), u, 1, n + 1 - U, v, 1, m + 1 - V) → a
  10. Sequence(CurveCartesian[(f(u) * hx(v)), (g(u) * hx(v)), hy(v), u, 1, n + 1 - U], v, 1, m + 1 - V) → liste1
  11. Sequence(CurveCartesian[(f(u) * hx(v)), (g(u) * hx(v)), hy(v), v, 1, m + 1 - V], u, 1, n + 1 - U) → liste2
