This example demonstrates various parts of a sphere and their geometric relationships. It involves core concepts like sphere surface, confidence interval, rectangle, planes, geometric mean, and algebra. Constructed using GeoGebra commands such as Sphere, Surface, points A, r0, ra, fa, a, sa, sp0, B, C, rb, rc, b, c, fb, fc, sb, sc, da, db, dc, st, d. Suitable for high school and above students learning solid geometry and algebraic concepts.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Sphere(A, ra) → a
  2. Surface(x(A) + (((fa(u, v) * ra) * cos(u)) * cos(v)), y(A) + ((ra * sin(u)) * cos(v)), z(A) + (ra * sin(v)), u, 0, (2 * π), v, ((-π)) / 2, π / 2) → sa
  3. Sphere((0, 0, 0), r0) → sp0
  4. Sphere(B, rb) → b
  5. Sphere(C, rc) → c
  6. Surface(x(B) + (((fb(u, v) * rb) * cos(u)) * cos(v)), y(B) + ((rb * sin(u)) * cos(v)), z(B) + (rb * sin(v)), u, 0, (2 * π), v, ((-π)) / 2, π / 2) → sb
  7. Surface(x(C) + (((fc(u, v) * rc) * cos(u)) * cos(v)), y(C) + ((rc * sin(u)) * cos(v)), z(C) + (rc * sin(v)), u, 0, (2 * π), v, ((-π)) / 2, π / 2) → sc
  8. Surface((((((da(u, v) * db(u, v)) * dc(u, v)) * r0) * cos(u)) * cos(v)), ((r0 * sin(u)) * cos(v)), (r0 * sin(v)), u, 0, (2 * π), v, ((-π)) / 2, π / 2) → st
