This example demonstrates the construction of Bernoulli's double egg curve. It involves geometric construction in probability and statistics. Using Surface, If, Segment and other GeoGebra commands, complex curves can be created. Suitable for high school mathematics education, especially in coordinate geometry and probability statistics.

GeoGebra Commands & Parameters

  1. Surface(u, (f(u) * cos(v)), (f(u) * sin(v)), u, -8, 8, v, 0, 6.28319) → e
  2. Surface(u, (f(u) * cos(v)), (f(u) * sin(v)), u, -8, 8, v, 0, 6.28319) → l
  3. Surface(u, (q(u) * cos(v)), (q(u) * sin(v)), u, -8, 8, v, 0, 6.28319) → b
  4. Surface(u, (q(u) * cos(v)), (q(u) * sin(v)), u, -8, 8, v, 0, 6.28319) → j
  5. If(a ≟ 1 ∧ h ≟ (-3.9), (zel - 1, (ff - 1) / (zel - 1)), If[a ≟ 0 ∧ h ≟ (-3.9), (zel - 1, ff / (zel - 1))]) → A'
  6. Segment(A, A') → m
